Where do services take place ?

We make it easy for families to get speech therapy services by traveling to your home or child’s daycare throughout Cedar Park, North Austin, & Leander Texas. Virtual therapy available for residents of Texas or New Jersey.

Do you support non-speaking

and minimally speaking children?

Yes. All communication counts. We honor gestures, vocalizations, facial expressions, body language, and AAC alongside spoken language. Our role is to support communication that feels safe, regulated, and meaningful for your child, however it shows up.

How can I tell if my child’s

speech / language is delayed?

Speech and language skills encompass different areas. Language typically refers to the ability to comprehend and use words in sentences to communicate. Speech refers to the specific sounds we use to make words. The best way to determine if your child needs therapy is to speak with a professional. What communication areas do

Our team of nationally certified Speech-Language Pathologists evaluate and create treatment plans for: Speech Sounds, Language Expression, Comprehension, Auditory Processing, Toddler and Preschool Play Skills, Pragmatic and Social Language Skills, Augmentative and Alternative Communication (AAC), Stuttering (Fluency), Emergent Literacy Skills, Reading, Written Language, Vocabulary, Word Retrieval

Do you accept insurance?

At this time, Flying Cloud Speech Therapy, PLLC, is a private pay organization. We do not bill insurance companies; however, a medical receipt (Superbill) can be provided per your request for you to submit to your insurance for possible “out-of-network” reimbursement. We recommend reaching out to your health insurance provider to determine reimbursement eligibility. Due to federal laws, Flying Cloud Speech Therapy is also unable to accept Medicare clients as private pay clients.

Do I need a referral to begin services?

No referral needed. Families can reach out directly to get started, ask questions, or schedule a consultation.

What are the benefits

of private pay therapy?

There is no waitlist.

  • No referral or prescription is needed.

  • The frequency of therapy sessions is not restricted

  • There are no eligibility requirements needed to qualify for therapy

  • Therapy sessions are tailored specifically to you and your loved one’s needs

  • Sessions can be provided in a location that works best for you, whether that be in your home, in the community (e.g park or library), or virtually.

Is an evaluation required prior to services beginning?

All clients must be evaluated prior to receiving therapeutic services. The evaluation may last up to 60 minutes and consists of caregiver interviews, observations, as well as formal and/or informal assessment tools. The results of the evaluation will be shared with you and a report will be provided. We will accept recent evaluation reports that have occurred in the last 6 months related to your areas of concern.

Will AAC stop or replace my child’s speech?

No. AAC does not take speech away. It gives children more ways to express themselves. Research consistently shows that AAC can support spoken language development, connection, and emotional safety.
